The ADEA Centralized Application for Advanced Placement for International Dentists (ADEA CAAPID®) is the centralized application service for internationally educated dentists who wish to practice dentistry in the United States or Canada.

This is the website which every international dentist intending to enter a DDS or DMD program have to sign up for and follow the prompts to complete the application. It is a one stop shop for almost all the universities except for a few.

First Time Applicant

• Will have to upload NBDE Score report, TOEFL Score Report, ECE Evaluation, Sealed Transcripts, 3 LOR’s

Second Time Applicant

• There is an option to get NBDE Score report, TOEFL Score Report, ECE Evaluation, Transcripts transferred over from your previous cycle. LOR’s and SOP have to uploaded again. If for some reason they did not get transferred over, you can always contact CAAPID, it is a quick fix on their end, they are pretty good with responding to issues like this.
